£8 million in Cash Grants for Industrial Sustainability Demonstration Projects in the UK

The department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator (IEEA) Phase 4 is now open. This grant offers £8 million in cash grant funding for businesses investing in sustainability.

Who can apply?

The IEEA is open to businesses to demonstrate UK-based industrial process innovations, with projects comprising of partnerships between developers of efficient technologies and industrial companies willing to trial innovations on-site.

When is the deadline?

Applications for Phase 4 will close on 19^th September 2022.

What will it fund?

The IEEA supports demonstration projects that will accelerate development and deployment of near-to-market novel innovations (TRL 5-8) that prove to be key to delivering on the UK's Net Zero targets. Technologies of particular interest will showcase the following:

• Reduce energy consumption
• Maximize resource efficiency 
• Cut carbon emissions

Successful applicants can expect to receive between £150K - £1 million per project.
